It may be too snowy and cold for cycling, but biking enthusiasts in Durango are busy preparing for next year. On Tuesday, the USA Pro Cycling Challenge’s 2012 route will be revealed, with Durango, Pagoda Springs, Telluride and Ouray all bidding for a stage. On Tuesday, this week, the McDonald’s Citizen Race of the 41st Iron Horse Bicycle Classic, which is limited to 2,500 riders, closed, less than a week after enrollment for the race opened.
