The Triple Bypass

The Triple Bypass Bicycle Ride is renowned as one of the premier cycling rides for those looking for a high altitude challenge with lots of vertical gain. The event is over 2 days with the ride doing the complete “Triple” each day and the hardiest riders completing both days for the “Double Triple”. With so much riding at such elevations there may not be a more scenic road ride in Colorado!

You can do this ride on your own at any time, but for the event the first day the ride covers 120 miles and three mountain passes – Squaw Pass at 11,140′, then onto Loveland Pass at 11,990′, and finally Vail Pass summiting at 10,560′ then finishing in Avon. The next day the ride reverses the course, for those who’s legs have not turned to cement.

This year the official ride will be Celebrating its 28th Anniversary , visit their official web site triplebypass.org for details and register early as this event sells out every year!
