Vail Extends Ski Season Save 50%

Vail is Extending the Ski Season Save 50% on Rentals & Accessories

It really has been an epic ski season here in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado and it just doesn’t want to stop snowing. So the ski areas are going to keep going as well so you can enjoy these great spring skiing conditions into the middle of April. Vail Resorts announced just this week that they will be extending their 2015/2016 ski season from April 10th to April 17th!

We are so excited about this that we are offering all our guests 50% Off on all Ski Rentals and all Ski Accessories from April 11th to April 17th! Just reserve your ski rentals online and you will receive your discount at the ski shop when you arrive! In addition to the lodging specials running this week, this is going to be the best prices you will find at one of the  world’s best ski areas!

The skiing the past couple weeks has been as good as it gets with almost two feet of snow in the last week alone. With chilly temps up high and warmer weather down low skiers have been able to enjoy light powder on the mountain and spring conditions at the base, truly getting the best of both worlds. The forecast is calling for a bluebird weekend with great temps, it is going to be perfect for bashing bumps on the frontside of the hill and exploring the Back Bowls and all the snow they have received. Then there are two more storms in the extended forecast so there is a good chance there will be more powder days for everyone as well. This may be Mother Nature’s way of saying why let a good thing come to an end.

This adds a huge value to season pass holders as season passes are honored for the extension. For those of you debating getting in one last ski trip before the end of the season this is your chance to save huge. With lodging deals up to 50% off during this bonus week you get to experience the world class ski area of Vail at a ridiculously affordable price. Rooms at the Austria Haus Hotel the week of April 3rd are on average $260 a night, with an advertised rate 0f $131 the following week. If you have been looking to treat yourself to something special this is the time. Click here for Vail lodging reservations.

Currently the entire mountain is open with 5,289 acres of skiing with a healthy base that looks promising to keep everything open through this extended season.

Taste Of VailFor those of you coming into town this weekend the Taste of Vail is happening all weekend, March 30th through April 3rd! This great event is designed to promote the Vail lifestyle through the community’s always growing food and beverage scene. There are four signature events including: the “Debut of 2015 Rosé” with wines straight from the French Mediterranean, the “Tapas & Albariño Luncheon with Patrick Mata” taking you on a tasting tour of Spain!, the “American Lamb Cook-off and Après Ski Tasting” the ultimate Après Ski Tasting, sampling an array of lamb dishes, courtesy of the Vail Valley’s finest chefs, and for something different the “Cigar and Spirits Sampling” where you have the chance to sample handcrafted cigars with a variety of tobacco blends alongside high quality spirits from Craft Distillers.
