Avon to Camp Hale & Back

This is a classic Vail road bike ride up to the historic Camp Hale, where the legendary 10th Mountain Division trained for World War II. This ride consists of a consistent climb with a couple of breaks to catch your breath for 30 miles up into the high country. Gaining just under 3,000 feet you will feel this one. This is one of our favorite conditioning rides for some of the bigger rides like the Triple Bypass.
